Syria

Syria is a very interesting country! Syria's capital is Damascus. Syria is the least expensive country in the region. In Syria it is very hot during the summer. Once you are in Syria the farther east you go it gets hotter. In the winter however it is quite cool. Most of the people in Syria are Sunni Muslims. Some people in Syria dress in western wear so if you go there you might see some people wearing weatern clothes. The offical language in Syria is Arabic. 89% of the people speak Arabic, they also speak Kurdish which has 6% of the people there, and Armenian at 3% of the people. In Syria the government is tough on drugs which means that they don't allow drugs in that much. In Syria there a tons of landscapes to see. They have deserts, plains, and mountains. Syria has a coastline of the Mediterrnean Sea. Syria is a very dry desert place.  Would you like to visit this desert like place? Would you like to live there? Why or why not?
